Millcreek Window Film for Homes, Apartments and Offices
Millcreek became its own city in 2016, but its neighborhoods are decades old: ramblers and split-levels on tree-lined streets, apartments along the main roads, and offices and clinics on Highland Drive and 3300 South. Millcreek Canyon opens on its east edge.
MillcreekHome Window Film for Millcreek Ramblers and Split-Levels
Much of Millcreek was built between the 1950s and the 1980s. Ramblers with long picture windows, split-levels with sliders to the backyard, and brick homes with original aluminum windows are everywhere. Many still have single-pane glass or early dual-pane units without low-E coatings, which makes them good candidates for film.
West-facing living rooms heat up in summer afternoons. Near-clear heat film cuts that heat without changing the view, and low-E film helps those same windows hold heat during cold winter inversions. Clear UV film protects wood floors and furniture throughout.
Homes closer to the mouth of Millcreek Canyon, east of Wasatch Boulevard, sit higher and see more snow, and their east windows look up at Mount Olympus and Grandeur Peak. Glare film helps those rooms on bright winter mornings, while the west side of the same house still needs heat control in summer.
Window Film for Millcreek Apartments and Townhomes
Highland Drive, 3300 South and 3900 South are lined with apartment complexes, from older garden-style buildings to new mid-rise projects near the city center. Units at ground level or facing busy streets need privacy, and west-facing units overheat in summer.
Property managers often want one approved film for all units, so the exterior looks consistent. We provide data sheets and samples and can install as units turn over. Low-E film on older single-pane apartment windows is a lower-cost upgrade than full replacement.
Garden-style complexes from the 1970s often have aluminum sliders and single-pane bedroom windows. Tenants in those units feel both the summer heat and the winter cold, and film is one of the few improvements a landlord can make between leases without construction.

Medical Office Window Film Near St. Mark's Hospital
St. Mark's Hospital and the medical office buildings around it bring many clinics, specialists and imaging centers to Millcreek. Frosted film on exam and treatment room windows provides privacy while keeping daylight. Glare film helps staff with west-facing workstations and screens.
We schedule clinic installs in the evening, on weekends or before opening, and use films that hold up to regular cleaning with non-ammonia disinfectants.
Storefront and Office Window Film on Highland Drive and 3300 South
Millcreek's main commercial corridors have shops, restaurants, banks and small office buildings, many from the 1970s and 1980s with large single-pane storefronts. A clear UV layer behind the display glass slows the color loss on merchandise, and a light solar grade takes heat off shops that face south and west.
Millcreek Common, the city's new central gathering space, is part of a broader push to build a walkable city center with new mixed-use buildings. Those projects bring more glass, and film can be planned in during tenant improvements.
Small office buildings along these roads often house insurance agencies, accountants and law offices with desks right against the glass. Glare film and light solar film make those workstations usable on afternoons when the sun comes straight down 3300 South.

Millcreek Window Film FAQs
My Millcreek rambler still has original windows. Should I add low-E film?
Usually it is worthwhile on original single-pane glass, especially in a living room or bedroom that feels chilly beside the window in winter. Newer dual-pane units with a factory coating benefit much less.
Can apartment managers approve one film for all units?
Yes. We provide specs and samples so one film can be approved and installed as units turn over.
Can clinic film be cleaned with disinfectant?
Yes, with non-ammonia, non-abrasive cleaners. Most clinic disinfectants are fine.
Will heat film darken my living room?
Not with a near-clear product. Those grades barely change the daylight while still cutting heat. Darker films reject more but make the room noticeably dimmer.
